Question
Asked a question 7 months ago

I wanted to change the passcode to unlock applications, but could not find an easy way to do that, so I ended up having to uninstall and re-install Covenant Eyes on every device, creating new passcode and then going through app list an blocking certain. There should be a way for the admin to "change" the passcode on each device without having to uninstall/re-install the application. If there is a way to change it please let me know, because it is not intuitive how to do it through the application, if there is. If not, can this be added in a future version of the application.

Where am I?

Hello Shawn.

Thank for your question. You can actually change the passcode by disabling app locking and then reenabling app locking with a new passcode. However, if you or your administrator cannot remember what the current passcode is then the only way to change the passcode is to uninstall the app, reinstall the app, and set up a new app lock passcode. You can find instructions on how to best utilize the app lock feature here21

Thank you and have a great rest of your day.
