I know that Covenant Eyes needs notifications turned on in order to work on mobile devices. Is there a way to mute or make the Covenant Eyes icon more discreet on my Android phone?

Where am I?

In Covenant Eyes you can ask and answer questions and share your experience with others!

Thanks for your question. Depending on what version of Android you are on, we have some good news. You may now be able to hide the Covenant Eyes icon on your screen while the phone is in use and you have other apps engaged. Currently this option is available for some brands on the Android 11 and Android 12 operating systems. Below, I will give the pathways to make this change for the phone brands that we have confirmed that this will work on. Thank you and have a great rest of your day.

Google Pixel on Android 11

  • Settings -> Apps & Notifications -> Notifications -> Advanced -> Hide silent notifications in status bar.

Google Pixel on Android 12

  • Settings -> Notifications -> Hide silent notifications in status bar.

Samsung on Android 11

  • Settings -> Notifications -> Advanced -> Show Notification Icons -> set to None.

Samsung on Android 12

  • Settings -> Notifications -> Advanced -> Show Notification Icons -> set to None.
