How do I use Covenant Eyes on a shared computer?

Where am I?

In Covenant Eyes you can ask and answer questions and share your experience with others!

Profiles on a computer are like having several offices in one building. Each person has a key to their own office and they can personalize their space. On a computer, each person has a password for their profile and can customize their digital space (backgrounds, bookmarks, etc.).  Screen Accountability™ and computer profiles provide:

  • Accuracy – if I’m the only person who knows the password for my profile, my report will always be about my activity, not the activity of my kids.
  • Convenience – when I’m done, I can hit “Windows+L” and the next person has to use their own password. (Mac also has a version of this.)
  • Security – only authorized friends or family can use my profile, this protects my personal information.

To create a new profile on your Mac, follow these instructions.

To create a new profile on your Windows 10 computer, follow these instructions.

To create a new profile on your Windows 8 computer, follow these instructions.
