Covenant eyes seems to break internet access in virtual machine (via Parallels). Is there any solution for that? To be specific: I have CE installed on my M1 Mac (Big Sur), which works fine. But when I enter in my Parallels VM, I cannot connect to the internet (DHCP failure). Uninstalling CE resolves the problem.

Where am I?

Hello Marko.

Thank you for your question and I am sorry to hear about that issue you are experiencing on the Mac. After consulting with my developers they were able to confirm that we are indeed compatible with Virtual Machines and have tested with Parallels in the past without issue. So assuming there are no other issues we shouldn't be affecting the connection on a virtual machine. However you said uninstalling Covenant Eyes resolves the issue. That would suggest to me that something else may be happening or interacting on the machine - whether third party software or something else. If you have the time I might encourage you to either call in or chat with us so that we can remote into your computer and see what might be going on. You can open open a chat with us directly on our website and you can reach our Member Care Team at 989-720-8000.

Thank you and have a great day.
