Wordpress-hosted sites won't load

Websites hosted through Wordpress will not load.  They are not blocked, just appear to be stuck in some sort of unending loading loop.  The only exception is the main Wordpress site itself.

I am running Windows 7 and using Google Chrome.  I have a couple sites hosted through Wordpress and can no longer access them to edit/update now that I have Covenant Eyes installed.

Has anyone else encountered this problem?  How do I resolve?

To my knowledge we have not experienced this problem before (although i will double check)

Do you have the filtering service with covenant eyes? Sometimes a site does not need to be "blocked" in order for it to not function. For example if the filter was blocking a piece of the website by mistake, it could create the situation where it seems like the page will not load at all.

If you are using the filter, my advise would be to up your FSL (filter sensitivity level) to at least T for teen. That should allow the vast majority of Wordpress's background process to pass through.

If you are not using the filter I would look to any other extensions you may have installed. I know for a fact that Addblock Plus (for example) has been known to interfere heavily some web creating/hosting sites.

Thank you for the reply, John.

I am using the filtering service but your explanation leads me to believe it's likely an issue with Chrome extensions.  When I try it through Internet Explorer now, everything comes up just fine.

I appreciate the input and will chalk this one up to user error with Google Chrome's features.
