Windows 8 compatibility

I always enjoy trying out Microsoft's Windows betas when they are released. CE worked great with the 7 beta, probably because it is so similar to Vista at the core. However, in the Windows 8 beta, CE causes anything accessing the internet to use 100% CPU. This is basically just a bug report, as I already called CE and they said that, while they really haven't tested Windows 8 compatibility yet, one of the techs said that one of the networking dlls (can't remember the name, someone want to remind me?) that CE depends on changed in Win 8, causing the issue. Just wanted to give a heads up to anyone else wanting to try it and to get the issue in writing.

Hi, everyone!

Our team is at a point now of looking to do some external testing in the very near future. If you are one of those interested in beta testing for Win8, please take a moment to fill out this sign-up form for our team.

Thank you!

We're not sure what is causing the bug with the survey link that it keeps refreshing on people instead of redirecting at the end of the survey, but we have a new link. I checked it and it doesn't seem to be having that issue, so if you would like to be a part of the beta and we don't have your info yet use this link instead of the one above.
