Windows 10 - sleep and resume

I've recently installed CovenantEyes on my Windows 10 computer. This has caused two observed issues:
  • My computer wakes up regularly from sleep, usually after only thirty seconds or one minute. This was not the case before installing.
  • Upon resuming from sleep, the internet is unusable, and CovenantEyes appears to have crashed. The icon in the notification area is grey and doesn't respond to clicks. The only ways I've found of fixing this issue is either to stop all CE processes in Task Manager before starting CE again manually or rebooting the computer
Can anyone help with these issues?

When I had CE installed on the same computer running Windows 7, I didn't see either of these problems.

Hello Paul,

Thank you for contacting us and I apologize for the difficulties you've been experiencing. This has been an issue we've been seeing recently with Windows 10 and the 7.2.0 version of Covenant Eyes, which is the version you appear to be running. Our developers are looking into the issue, but in the meantime, it was suggested that you try using our latest version, 7.2.4, that is available on our website through 'My Account'.

If you need any assistance updating your Covenant Eyes software or continue to have the sleep mode issue after upgrading please contact our Customer Service at 877.479.1119.

Best regards,

I am having a similar issue with Covenant Eyes, and running 7.2.4 hasn't helped.
  • Waking from sleep, CE is signed out (using 7.2.0) or blocks ALL websites, even those that are specifically Allowed (using 7.2.4). The only remedy has been repetitive signing in and out, and as a fix that has proven unreliable at best.
  • CE is blocking online game launchers, specifically Steam and from connecting, which it never used to do. (7.2.4)
Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated as it also affects my studies not just my recreation.
