Aria,

Not on launch. We may look to cover the Windows 10 phone eventually, but it is not on development list at this time.

I haven't tried the beta software for Windows 10 yet, but Continuum seems promising.  The Windows Keynote implied that it would now be a universal os.  Is it possible the death of RT and birth of Win10 means Covenant Eyes just being installed on a Windows phone like any computer?

That's my thoughts exactly. It seems like CE could develop a universal app to work for all Windows 10 devices. So by covering Windows 10 desktop, as they always have, they will automatically cover Windows 10 for phones.

Maybe...?

Windows has, 3 times, said they were going to build universal platforms. The Windows 7 & 8 phones were both said to be on the same kind of idea... and then Windows killed them.

So yeah, it is totally possible. But until we know for sure, I would not get my hopes up if i were you.

sorry

This would be awesome! The more I learn about Windows 10, the more I like the thought of a Windows Phone. I already have a Pro 3 that is getting an upgrade to 10, so it seems like a logical step other than not having CE. Maybe the ability to create Universal Apps for Win10 will make this possible?

My family and I are big fans of the Windows phones. Windows 10 mobile should come out any day now. We would love to have CE on it! All the other options are so irritating. All we really need is the same history tracking and reporting. Please!!!

Any updates from the CE team on this request?  With W10 rolling out to more phones and the universal app options expanding daily, this seems like a great time to be an early mover in this category.

Thanks

I recently noticed that Microsoft has built in their own version of CE. (sort of)  It's called "Family" under your Microsoft account.  You can enable web filtering, activity monitoring (including hours of usage), time restraints, and ability to download apps.  It's pretty robust compared to previous Window Phone parental settings.  Better yet the setting move with the Microsoft account so wherever you sign into a computer, tablet, or phone those settings go with the Microsoft account.

I have been using this on my computer and tablet for a while in the place of CE to see how it works and it seems to do a good job.  (very similar to CE)  One difference is that the activity reporting doesn't categorize websites into rankings like CE.

You have to register one person as a parent and another person as a child.  Parent = accountability partner, child = person being held accountable.  It only works one directionally.  You can't both be accountable to each other.  So there's a shortcoming compared to CE.

You can check out more at https://account.microsoft.com/family/about.  I hope to get a Windows phone soon and try this out.  I love CE, have used it for year, and would recommend it to anyone, but Microsoft might have just created a free version of CE. (almost)

Could we please have another update from the CE team on an app for Windows 10/Windows 10 Mobile? We have already seen true universal apps implemented by many companies/developers. At the very least, could web tracking be enabled for Microsoft Edge across desktop/mobile?
