Hi all, I remember reading (and being excited) that CE was working on a "whole device" solution for iOS and the news post said it would be out in May. Did I miss it? Or are we still waiting? I've checked the news blog, but February is the most recent update, so I just wanted to see check if we knew of any progress. Thanks!

Good question Zach, we've been patiently waiting also for our family needs on the cell phones. What is the status CE? Is the CE IOS platform now fully supervising in-app usages yet?

Hi guys,
Thanks for the posts! The development of the iOS application that can work outside of the Covenant Eyes browser hit a couple of unexpected snags. It is back on track and we are definitely working on getting it released as quickly as possible without compromising the quality and usability of the application.

Is there any update on this? I have been eagerly awaiting the release for some time now.

Thanks for asking. There is not a release date at this time. However, as you probably know, a big step was taken in that direction a few weeks ago. We were able to roll out a beta version to several hundred specially-selected users. The manager for that project updated our team today and said that, while the feedback has brought two issues to the forefront, the feedback has been positive!

As you can imagine with the popularity of iPhones and iPads, CE can not ship a "mostly-works" product. The app needs to be solid and so does the support structure that goes with it. When those criteria are met, we'll be able to release it to everyone. If you haven't signed up to be notified when that app is released, you can do so at this Coming Soon page.

Thanks again for asking; we appreciate your interest!

Don't hold your breath. It is apparent that CE isn't really interested in caring for, or responding to their customer concerns. The whole-device solution has been promised for a long time, but CE continues to neglect their customers.

I'm sorry. I understand that, from your perspective, this feels like neglect. Please know, that's not our intent. We have a team working to make the whole-device coverage happen. We accept that getting it out the door is our responsibility and our team works on it every single week.
