Web-page Sign in problems

My wife and I have both been having problems accessing the internet when the wi-fi we are signing on to requires a web-page sign in (you know, when you connect to the wi-fi, and they have a browser page with the internet use agreement and all that). She works off of a MAC and I use Windows, and we both the same problem.  The problem is that covenant eyes requires that we be signed in before we can open web-pages. But it also requires that there be an internet connection in order to sign in. So it effectively locks down our computers and makes any internet use impossible. It's becoming pretty frustrating to not be able to get our work done because we can't use our systems. Has anyone else run into this issue? Any ideas on how to fix the problem?

James,

I apologize for taking so long to respond to your post. Are you still having issues using Covenant Eyes at hotspots?

Covenant Eyes is designed to allow you to connect to a hotspot before signing in. Are you typically presented with a hotspot sign in page when you experience this issue? If not, you may want to reboot your computer and attempt to access a non-https such as ford.com in order to prompt the hotspot Terms and Conditions page.

Let me know if there is anything else I can do for you.
