Unable to connect to internet

Once I install the app for Android, I try to login to finish the setup but it keeps telling me there is no internet connection even though I am connected to a private Wi-Fi network. This is extremely frustrating, and any help would be appreciated. I've already tried uninstalling and re-installing numerous times as well as removing my blue light filter.

Hi Spencer Ricker,
     Thanks for posting! Here are some troubleshooting steps that may help you:

1.        Exclude Covenant Eyes from Power Saving Mode

2.        Remove Verizon Family Safety, Verizon Safe Wi-Fi, or any phone provider app                                     using a VPN 

3.       Remove screen tinting applications (Blue Light Filter, Twilight, f.lux)

4.       Remove task killer, cleaning, antivirus, or battery saver applications

I just double check on all the programs listed and tried again to no avail. Still stuck.
