Hello Daniel,

Thank you for reaching out to us! Unfortunately, there is not a way to block the Telegram desktop app.

I tested this on my computer and could not find a way to block it. An alternative solution would be to uninstall Telegram, and then block the websites for the desktop download. That would prevent you from being able to reinstall Telegram.

Here are some websites that you could add to the Block List:

telegram.org

desktop.telegram.org

If you stumble upon any other websites that allow you to install Telegram, you can add those to your Block List.

Daniel,

Let me encourage you to try adding core.telegram.com. Then refresh the CE client, before seeing how well the block works.

If that doesn't complete the block, then you may have to add play.google.com to your custom block list. However, that may have additional, unwanted effects (like blocking other sites) since google "spider-webs" throughout the internet.

Actually, before adding that google address, I would try adding instantview.telegram.org.

Thx for the update. Did you try adding play.google? If so, did it have any impact on access to telegram?
