Support for Microsoft Edge on Android

Microsoft Edge is quickly becoming my browser of choice on PC along with thousands of other users who are realizing its potential. Seriously, I poo pooed it forever, sticking to my beloved Chrome for dear life, and then I realized extensions were there, and it was faster, and integrates better across my devices where I use Microsoft accounts etc.

I know it's an early release, but please be on top of this. Currently the Edge browser on Android is blocked, but I would hope as a major player in the browser game, the developers at Covenant Eyes would realize the value of being able to monitor a Microsoft product like Edge on Android and iOS.

Personally, much as I love Edge on my desktop, it doesn't have a big enough mobile userbase yet to make it worth their while. If they're going to open up another browser, make it Firefox or something that already has millions of mobile users.

Whether Barney works for CE or not, Microsoft does not have the market share on mobile. Firefox has a significant lead in the mobile ecosystem. I'm sure a simple web search will show you those numbers...

You know, I don't really care what you think, we're asking the company that developed CE a question, that's it. If you don't like the question, just move on by.

Hey Folks,

I'm happy to see the interaction here and I'll pass along your sentiments to the Development team.

To be frank, I don't think it will zoom to the top of the priority list. Last I checked the Edge browser on Android had under 1% market share of the mobile environment; Chrome and Safari simply dominate. Of course, all things are subject to change and the decision-makers have a bunch of factors that go into the process. So I'll add CE coverage of Edge on Android to their items for consideration.
