Suggestions for CE: home page and PDF

Please make the following changes.

Allow us to designate a blank page or google.com as a home or start page. Upon opening up CE it always loads up the last page. This is time consuming and often times I don't want to view the last page I looked at.

Also please allow viewing of pdfs to be open with alternate apps. This will allow me to save the pdf file and not have to use a desktop to save the pdf. This is very frustrating.

Hey Park,

Thanks for taking the time to post. We really appreciate feedback from our members and all of it gets passed on to relevant developers.

For you post here I actual went about attempting the complex ritual of summoning a mobile developer to get answers to your questions. Turns out all I had to do was walk towards the kitchen to find one... who knew?

Anyway he liked your suggestions and said they are definitely possible. However our mobile team is hard at work on some really cool sweeping improvements to the mobile client, so it is unlikely that your suggestions could be implemented soon*

Keep an ear to the ground for our updates and feel free to post any other suggestions here on the forums.

Thanks

- John

Thanks so much for your reply John. I was honestly surprised to get a response. Any possibility to allow downloading of other files as well such as pages documents. It would be nice to be able to download and open up files in other apps.

Thanks

Tom

You are very welcome. We really want this forum to become an active community =)

We are in the middle of a huge development cycle for Mobile devices that will lead (hopefully) to some really cool advances. The changes we want to make are still a ways off, but stay tuned because we are always looking to improve what we do.
