SSL Connection Error

So until I had installed Covenant Eyes on my computer I had not previously had this problem. I realize that the program has conflicts with Google Chrome however I keep getting an SSL Connection Error. This occurs even to sites such as YouTube, Twitter and Facebook; all sites that have been allowed. I would appreciate any help on resolving this. Thank you!

Sorry to hear you are having trouble, seems like the issue is happening with HTTPS sites in particular.

The very first thing I would do is check your filter settings by logging into Covenant Eyes.com. If for instance you are set to "Youth" the default level, Covenant Eyes will block Facebook and YouTube. Instead of the blocked sites page however, you may get the SSL error, simply due to how HTTPS interacts with filters it can take precedence before we get a chance to tell you why it is blocked.

If your filter is set to T or higher, there are a couple of other things you could try. such as

Restarting Covenant Eyes (or that computer) - Changes you make to the filter online will only apply when you re load the Covenant Eyes program.
