Hi Brett,
Thanks for the post! Are you inquiring as to if something changed with Spotify or Covenant Eyes? Can you explain the issue that you're seeing?

Thanks
Samantha

Haven't used Spotify on my laptop in over a week, but I tried to today.  It would play for about 5-10 seconds and then stop.  I thought it was an issue with the Spotify program, but I just happened to open the Covenant Eyes local activity "thing" and saw this

Unconfirmed item
http://audio-sp-sjc.spotify.com/audio/e3e9b7e159df89b8a13999b438d7205c43c80986?1479246270_6XpbO6NdJi...=

Is Covenant Eyes not allowing Spotify to do its thing?

Hi Brett,
The local activity will show every URL that you access, so that in itself doesn't mean anything. If our filter is blocking it, it should designate it as blocked.  Also, if it was a filter issue, I wouldn't expect that it would allow you to use it at all. I would check the version of Covenant Eyes that you're running. Since our software doesn't automatically update, it's not uncommon for it to become incompatible with other programs as they update. You can check your version number by right clicking on the eye and choosing "About Covenant Eyes". Our current version is 7.2.11, so if you have a different version, I would recommend going to covenanteyes.com and downloading the newest version and seeing if that resolves the issue. If it doesn't, I'd call the Customer Service hotline (877-479-1119, open 8AM-midnight EST Monday -Friday and 10AM-6PM on Saturday) for some more in depth troubleshooting.

That could very well be the issue! Try updating and see if it's better.

Hello Brett,

I just wanted to take a minute to chime in as well. The issue with Spotify is an issue we recently became aware of and luckily we do a version we can get you set up on. It is still a beta, but we have been told that the confliction with Spotify should be resolved with this beta version. If you could contact our Customer Service at your earliest convenience we would be more than happy to assist you, 877.479.1119

Best regards,
Annelise
