Some holes

I have found some significant holes in the blocking/monitoring system. In essence, once you go down one layer, off of a google search into an internal site search, the monitoring is much less. As such, there are a handful of fairly large/ popular sites that would be worth either monitoring more closely or else creating some sort of trigger to report if the "Mature Content Off" is turned On. I don't know much about programming, so I don't know if you could do this globally or if you have to manually target certain sites.

If you would have to target the individual sites, I would like to share the sites where there is a significant amount of porn that CE is not detecting, but really needs to (or in some cases is only picking up about 30%, despite the site itself having a nsfw or mature tag for the videos. Which I think if CE was monitoring for, could easily be blocked.) However, I am concerned about posting the sites publically lest others in the interim find it for themselves as I expect it won't be an immediate fix or else maybe it isn't fixable at all. Is there a way of pm'ing a CE employee who could pass the sites on to their tech guys?

Hi Ed,

Thank you for your post. We are aware of some short comings in the software. Without getting too technical there are legitimate reasons the CE software covers some sites less well than others.

However, it is possible we are unaware of the sites you have discovered. If you don't mind please send a detailed email to support@covenanteyes.com, also include the link to this GetSat page so our email support representative can see our conversation.

Thank you very much for not posting the sites you've found. Keeping those confidential will prevent others from struggling with those sites.
