I am using a Softphone/VOIP solution called Nextiva and the audio no longer works. When I received the system it worked fine but sometime after installing CE it stopped working. Anyone heard of this before?

Greg,

I haven't come across that situation, so I checked with another customer service vet. He has seen some VoIP conflicts before and, unfortunately, there isn't a real fix in place. A member of the Customer Service team could gather debug logs and pass those along to the Developers for a closer look; but I can't guarantee a turn-around time or even a solution.

If you are using the original Internet Accountability service, and you have filtering, you might be able to configure the filter in a way to allow Nextiva and Covenant Eyes to work together. But that's a long shot.

If you are not using our new Screen Accountability service, I would encourage you to try that out. It's built in such a way that conflicts are less likely. It uses screenshots to provide accountability, whereas the Internet Accountability service focuses on URLs/links/etc and gets tied up in the communication functions of a device. And that can lead to such conflicts.

Greg, if I was you, I'd try Screen Accountability. But if you decide to get some debug logs to the Developers, let us help you. Please call 877-479-1119 and a member of the team will be glad to assist you.

Robert

Hi Robert,

I'm using screen accountability already and I confirmed CE is breaking it.  I need to set exclusions for 208.73.144.0/21and 208.89.108.0/22. How do I do that?
