I'm running Window 7. I have Firefox Quantum 66.0.03 (64 bit).

When I try to search with Bing, use Gmail, or Youtube I get:

Did Not Connect: Potential Security Issue has a security policy called HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS), which means that Firefox can only connect to it securely. You can’t add an exception to visit this site.

When I view the certificate, it says it's issued by Common Name: CovenantEyesProxy (65921)

Is there a proxy setting I can put in Firefox to get around this? Or change something in the SSL?

Thank you for reaching out. I'm pretty sure we've seen this before. It boils down to Firefox's use of root certificates. Let me give you two simple options:

Option 1 - In case you don't have Covenant Eyes for Windows version 8.0.53, go ahead and uninstall what you do have and put 8.0.53 on the device. In most cases, that will will "iron out the wrinkles."

Option 2 - We have some options via a built-in tool, but it's tucked away. So you'll need to contact Customer Support at 877.479.1119 or via live chat.

As I mentioned, it's highly likely that upgrading to 8.0.53 will do the trick. But if not, please contact us. Anyone on the team will be glad to help!
