Screen Shots Blank on AppleTv+ Macbook

I was watching a series on AppleTV+ this week and noticed that the video flickered to black every so often as watching. This week, in my screen accountability report I noticed a series of plain black screen shots. I think AppleTV is protecting content by blocking screenshots on their content. Does that seem possible that CE would be blocked from monitoring that content in screen accountability? Do you think this applies to all videos played in itunes/music etc?

Hello Nicholas.
It's unlikely that the flickering you experienced is caused by Covenant Eyes. When the app takes screenshots it does so in the background on a private buffer. That means that the monitor visible to the person isn't affected. That being said, the actual black screenshots that your Ally reported could very likely be Apple blocking us. Apple can behave similarly with other copyrighted material on streaming services and likely would not allow that copyrighted material to be "copied" even if it is just a blurred screenshot.

Thank you.
