@Mide

Thanks for mentioning this. The issue on the S4 is that the actual stock browser is really Chrome, but they have buried that in the Applications menu. The browser they placed on the home screen is actually Samsung's own browser and it works like any other third party browser in that we cannot monitor it. We do monitor Chrome on the S4, since, as far as the operating system on the device is concerned, it is the stock browser.

Hope this helps.

Hi Dave,

I have made sure that google chrome is my only browser, and the only one I can access, However covenant eyes does not seem to be registering anything other than me opening up the 'app' (as in google chrome). None of the websites have been registering on my reports. i tested this further by going on tumblr and still nothing..... HELP.

@Mide, how long after visiting the sites did you check the reports?

It can take several hours after a visit for an address to show up on a report, depending on server load. Also, are you checking the report or the detailed browsing log? If a site doesn't score highly enough, it may not meet the criteria to be displayed on a report, depending on which sensitivity level you are viewing your report at. Best bet would be to check the detailed browsing log after several hours have gone by to see if the sites you tested with appear there.

Hi Dave,

I have checked a couple of days afterwards and nothing has come up. Nothing at all. Looking at my google chrome history on my mobile and my report on covenant eyes, nothing corroborates at all.

I have the S4 mini with both the Samsung/Android stock browser (called "Internet") and Chrome browser installed. The phone came pre-installed with both.

I have tested it and covenant eyes seems to record activity in ONLY the chrome browser and not the stock "internet" browser as you've said above. The problem is...both these browsers have an incognito mode...chrome included. After testing, it seem that any website visited in the incognito mode go un-monitored and un-recorded. Is there no way for Covenant Eyes to record browsing activity done in Incognito mode in chrome?

Seems completely pointless if these incognito mode options allow for bypassing of covenant eyes. :(

I'm having the same issue with no website monitoring on a Samsung Galaxy S4 through Chrome or the other internet app they include. Show length of time usage for apps, but no website monitoring. Is there a fix for this?
