Samsung Galaxy S8 issues

I have got the Samsung Galaxy S8 and have had it ever since it came into existence. The first application that i set up on my phone was Covenant Eyes and I have been experiencing problems with my phone ever since! After consulting and visiting Samsung in store, I have had a new software flashed through my phone and have been advised that it may well be Covenant Eyes which is causing the problems. I have asked other people who haven't got filters on their phones who have told me that their phones are working perfectly well. i haven't signed back in to Covenant Eyes and haven't had a n usual issue with my phone since. When I do open up the application, not only does it not take me to the home page, the phone begins to vibrate uncontrollably and just crashes causing me to restart my phone. I would like to get this right and have tried alot to do so. nothing seems to work, leaving me in a situation I don't like to be in, without a filter.

Hello Yisroel,

Thank you for your post and I apologize for the issues you've been experiencing, I know they can be very frustrating. Luckily, we do have a solution that has been successful for many of our users. With Covenant Eyes installed you can go into the battery settings and choose to optimize the Covenant Eyes app by completing the following steps:

1.  Go to your settings app on your Android device.

2.  Within settings locate and tap on the 'Device Management' option.

3. Once in Device Management select the 'Battery' option near the bottom, left side of your screen.

4.  Inside of Battery you will then scroll down the screen to locate and tap on 'Unmonitored Apps'.

5. In Unmonitored Apps select 'Add apps'.

6. A list of apps should appear. Covenant Eyes should be in this list. You'll want to select Covenant Eyes and then tap 'Done' in the upper right hand corner.

7. You should then be taken back to the list of un-monitored apps where Covenant Eyes is now listed

I'm experiencing the same problem as well. System starts stuttering and almost freezes. I can't even get past the lock screen because it's lagging. I contacted CE by phone and they told me that the devs are aware and should be releasing a fix/patch soon!

In case you missed it, CE for Android pushed out a new version on Friday - 3.0.4.40. A big reason for that update was to further address the lag issues that people have experienced.
