Safari and "Enhanced iPhone Accountability"

If I enable (or rather un-restrict) the safari browser with the new "enhanced iphone accountability" (CE version 4.0.0 in iOS), does that mean websites will be filtered in Safari, or will they just be monitored only through accountability? I have filtering and accountability through the CE browser. Wondering what I gain or lose through Safari as it's been restricted thus far. I'm excited about the potential use of Safari again as I've never been a fan of the CE browser's usability.

Dan,

Thanks for writing in! The new iOS app filters within the Covenant Eyes browser only. Within Safari, google and bing now lock safe search and top level domains are monitored. More detailed information can be found on the blog:

Hopefully this clears things up!

Blessings,
