Recommendation for iPhone guide

I think one thing you should mention in your iPhone guide (http://www.covenanteyes.com/support-articles/how-do-i-use-the-iphone-browser-app/#restrictions), is that a user may want to modify their Siri settings under Restrictions so that Siri cannot search the web.  I believe that the Web Restrictions will limit what Siri searches for, but it may be best to just restrict Siri from searching the web altogether.  I, for one, didn't realize such an option existed until yesterday, after a few weeks of having Siri.  I think it's an important step for locking down the phone.

Hey Chance,

Thanks for the suggestion, it sounds like a good idea.

A couple of quick questions, I have an IOS 7 device here that I enabled the restrictions and disabled Safari on. Once I had disabled Safari I was no longer able to use Siri to browse the internet at all. Does this match up with what you experienced?

If the user is going to leave Safari unlocked, then I suppose disabling Siri could be beneficial, but at that point there seems to be little benefit in using Covenant Eyes on the IOS device at all.

If I am missing something here please let me know, we really appreciate the time you take to post.

Hi John,
Good question.  When I search for something using Siri, I can't actually click on the links.  However, what I've found is that usually the Siri searches bring up images.  I think these could be limited somewhat based on the web restrictions, but I found, for me, it's best just to disable the web search altogether.

Huh, very interesting.

I was finally able to replicate what you are experiencing by changing the way that I ask Siri questions. (2 out of 3 attempts Siri simply told me it could not complete the action.)

I will make sure this gets forwarded onto the relevant parties.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
