Protection for Kindle

Looks like I am the first to make this suggestion. If not, forgive me, I just couldn't find anything on this. I would like to suggest that CE come up with an application for the Kindle. The current versions of Kindle now have a browser included, and one more opening into the world of porn. I realize that this probably is not a priority as there are many other more popular web access items that need to be covered, yet someone has to bring up this one as well.

Hello...My 14 year old grandson received a Kindle Fire as a gift. He loves it but we want to have peace of mind when he is using it. Please keep us posted when you have something available. Thank you.

Just a heads up: it looks like the Kindle Fire is getting some new parental control and usage restriction features.

While they're not a replacement for full accountability, they are welcome and will likely be quite useful.

I, too, would love to see a CE solution for Kindle Fire. I'd love one for Kindle Touch, too, but seems that that's not really possible.
Thanks.

Just wanted to let you know that I just posted new beta build of Covenant Eyes for Android that will monitor the stock browser, Chrome browser (on devices where it is the stock browser), and the Kindle Fire Silk Browser.

If you would like to try it out, please uninstall any version you are currently running on your device and then pull up http://www.covenanteyes.com/droidtest on your device's browser and tap the link located on that page to start downloading the installer.

Once you tap the download link, pull down the notifications from the top of the screen. You should see a notifications that reads 'CovenantEyesAndroid.apk'. When that notification reads 'Download Complete', tap it to begin the install.

I'd love to hear any comments you have if you try the new version: please send them to androidbeta@covenanteyes.com.
