Kevin,

Good to hear from you!

On a Windows device, if Covenant Eyes® is installed first, it should run just fine with Private Internet Access VPN. On a Mac, or an iPhone®, there should not be a compatibility issue. On AndroidTM, we have not tested compatibility there.

aceofdeath4life,

It sounds like you uninstalled the VPN and installed CE. If that's the case, then yes, go ahead and reinstall the VPN.

If things are still acting up, feel free to reach out to our customer service reps via chat or phone (877.479.1119). Anyone on the team would be happy to take a closer look at your unique situation.

So does CE on iPhone work with something like an Adblock VPN?

Chance,

I haven't tried it but I doubt that it will. Mobile devices tend to allow only one app at a time to use the VPN functionality of the phone. Since our app wants to use those functions, and, it appears, that Adblock VPN also wants to use those functions, there would be a conflict. This would manifest itself in one or both apps working in a way that's "not quite right" or, maybe, not at all.

Of course there are exceptions to the one-at-a-time pattern, but it tends to hold true on both iPhones and Androids.

The scenarios mentioned earlier in this thread had to do with computers. And, since the CE clients don't use a VPN, it's a different ball game than the mobile environment.
