Please consider re-adding blocked times feature

One of the things I liked about Covenant Eyes before the update to screen accountability was the ability to block times. I do think that the new screen accountability is revolutionary, so I'm not complaining about that. However I would like the ability to block times for internet use so I can be more productive.

I tried some third party programs to block the internet and block time wasting sites. However, these programs interfered with Covenant Eyes and caused it not to work. The Customer Support fellow (who was very helpful, kudos!) had me delete the third party program and then my Covenant Eyes was back to full function.

However, this means that I cannot block times. If third party apps/programs interfere with Covenant Eyes functionality, then I think Covenant Eyes should look into adding the block times back to help it's customers be more effective in their internet usage in a comprehensive way.

Thanks for the consideration!

Tim and Gerard,

Thanks to you both for chiming in. I think it's interesting that both of you are looking at the same idea, but seeing different angles of value in it. While I can't make any promises about what happens next I will pass all of this info along to the decision makers.

Tim, I'm curious. Do you remember what third party app you used for blocking internet by time? Was it for mobile devices or computers, or both?

Thanks again guys!

Robert

It was called Cold Turkey. It worked on my Windows PC devices (desktop and tablet).
