Many web browsers support a "Open in X" in the iOS share menu. Long-click a link, and can perform actions in other web browsers. Brave, Chrome, and Firefox all support this feature to some extent, and it would be nice to add for Covenant Eyes, to no longer need copy/paste mechanism.
I don't think this is the same, but I just discovered that when I click a link in Airmail or Overcast, a dialogue pops up asking whether I want to open in Covenant Eyes (I think this only happens for the first time). If I click 'yes' the link opens straight away in CE. This means I don't need to fiddle with copying and pasting links.
I don't know when this started working - but it's made using CE on my iPad so much more straight forward. Thanks so much iOS team!
What funkydan2 said is correct, links can now be opened in CE without the copy/paste steps. This is true for iOS 10 users that have disabled Safari and are using CE 220.127.116.11. On the practical side of things, I think you'll find that to be very helpful. On the technical side of things, because this link-opening ability now exists, we are not currently developing the 'Open in X' feature.
