Hi, Noah! Thanks for asking.

While we have not yet tested it on Nook HD to be able to tell you definitively if it does or does not work, your question has generated discussion on our development team.

When I know something more solid I'll come back and let you know, but if anyone has tried our Android app on the Nook HD/HD+ and would like to share we'd love to hear how it worked for you there.

I bought a nook hd+ today and the CE app works great! It downloaded with no problems and showed up on my account that I installed it on a new device

Hi Nook Owners,

At this time we have only begun internal testing of the newest version of the Covenant Eyes app for Android on the Nook devices. What we've encountered so far is that the app will install and in some cases function correctly, some cases it won't, and what I mean by that is that it may or may not monitor the internet activity on your Nook. It seems to be hit or miss at this time.

So far the worst problem we've encountered is that the Covenant Eyes app cannot be removed from the Nook. Because the Nook does not have the ability to allow setting the Covenant Eyes app as a 'device administrator' you cannot uninstall the Covenant Eyes app without erasing and unregistering the Nook.

Because of these issues we are still not recommending our Members install the Covenant Eyes Android app on their Nooks at this time. If you do install it, please be aware that it may not work correctly and you will probably need to erase and unregister your Nook if you ever want to uninstall the Covenant Eyes app.

As always, if you have any questions please feel free to call our Customer Service Team toll-free at 877-479-1119 or email us at support@covenanteyes.com.

It's been about a year since Chad's post. Any updates? I did manage to successfully install CE on my Nook HD this week. I have no desire to uninstall it, so I don't have an issue with it remaining on the Nook permanently. Is the above still the case? App will install and may or may not function correctly?

Officially our stance on the Nook has not changed, the limitations of not having Device Admin or Playstore access make it tricky to work with.

Noah, thanks for letting us know that it worked on your device. That is cool to hear, do you mind if I ask which device specifically you have it installed on?

The Nook HD. It actually did support device admins. I say did because, I am not using the device any more.

Just to clarify, the Nook HD uses/can access Google Playstore and that's how I was able to download and install it. I can't determine if it supports Device Admin but it did install correctly. It appears to be having some difficulty recognizing the "stock" browser, which on a Nook HD is Chrome, but at least the Nook HD allowed CE to be installed.
