I watched the Apple Keynote last month and saw that there is a major update coming to iOS8 this Fall which allows “Extensions," and it seems to be essentially "iPhone widgets" that may allow that needed background communication between iPhone apps. I know that Apple has currently released the software and updates for developers to currently make these “Extensions” now for their apps and Im just curious to know if your team has been checking out these new developments for possibly achieving monitoring on iPhones?

Hey Nathan,

We have certainly been watching the iOS updates closely and are excited about everything that iOS 8 has to offer.

The short version is that the "Extensions" in iOS 8 would not be sufficient to provide any real sort of accountability.

However we have some really cool updates coming for iOS in the future which are taking a different approach to improving the way we do accountability on iOS.

Stay tuned
