My report says it's been uninstalled twice this week?

The report shows that the program was uninstalled twice this past week at 1:30 ish in the morning from my phone? I’m not awake at that time and I’m not uninstalling it. I just looked at my phone this morning and it is installed and I am due for a phone update, so I don’t think my phone updated last night.

I did notice yesterday once when I went to launch the cove eyes browser that it was asking me to log in? I didn’t have my passcode with me so I just left it alone, but now I’m logged back in?

Hello Brian,

Thank you for your post and I apologize for the confusion. The message you're receiving under the Install/Uninstall section of our report does not mean our app has been completely uninstalled. This message is referring to the VPN service being temporarily disabled. We now use the VPN on your iPhone to enhance our reporting on your device. The VPN allows us to monitor Top Level Domains from apps like Safari. So, the Covenant Eyes browser still remains installed, but the VPN service has been temporarily disabled. This can be for several reasons such as updates or a blip in the data or wifi connection and not just from someone attempting to remove or tamper with our app.

I hope this information helps answers your questions.

If you have any other questions feel free to contact our Customer Service at 877.479.1119.

Best regards,
Annelise

Thanks, yes, that answers my question. But it's not a great situation, because my accountability partner is getting a message that I've uninstalled the program. If someone wants to cheat the system they can uninstall and then say, "Oh, I guess we just lost VPN at that time..." Can the notification be changed to "lost vpn connection"' temporarily or something like that?

I agree with Brian's concern - for me, I'm not finagling any settings, and I too have received repeated uninstall reports, some in the early morning hours, which does not look good, but does not reflect any behavior on my part. These alerts are frequent enough that they've created a sort of "chicken little" situation with my partners - they no longer respond at all to them. Perhaps the technology allows you no way of differentiating between human "finagling settings" and glitches - if so, I understand. Perhaps the issue has more to do with "coaching" accountability partners on how to approach these, now that the VPN is used, since these alerts seem to have been more likely the result of human tampering in the past?
