microsoft edge - and whole system unfiltered

Ever since the upgrade to 7.2.68 (great update, by the way), Microsoft Edge has become a vulnerability for me.
My filter doesn't seem to work at all on Edge, and this is a glaring issue for CE users like myself.
Additionally, there are certificate issues with Firefox, so now I cannot access my gmail, much less anything google-ish.
UPDATE:
It turns out that my entire system is completely unfiltered, despite the filter still being loaded full of things to block. Please help, this is a big problem.

Hello Samuel!

I think you are hitting on a two-faceted issue here. Let me take a moment to elaborate what I think went wrong and how to fix that:

1. With regards to the filter being broken-

We have, on rare occasion, noticed that an upgrade to the Covenant Eyes software can cause issues within Covenant Eyes. I would suggest that you uninstall and reinstall the software-my anticipation is that something didn't install properly in the upgrade and left the software in a somewhat broken state. Instructions on uninstalling Covenant Eyes can be found here: http://www.covenanteyes.com/support-articles/how-do-i-uninstall-covenant-eyes/
Instructions on installing Covenant Eyes can be found here: http://www.covenanteyes.com/support-articles/how-do-i-download-and-install-covenant-eyes/

2. With regards to certificate issues in firefox-

We had to update the library that our software uses to comply with newer firefox policies. Hence, our software uses an up-to-date library that works on the current version of firefox, but creates this certificate issue if firefox is out-of-date. I would suggest that you check to see if your firefox browser is out-of-date and update it to the latest version if it is. Instructions on upgrading firefox can be found here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/update-firefox-latest-version

If this doesn't work to resolve your issues, or anything is unclear, please feel free to write back in this thread!
