iTunes store verification failed

Can't access iTunes store Apple ID.  iTunes works fine, but when I try to open my account I get "verification failed.  There was an error connecting to the Apple ID server."  I'm pretty sure it's due to CE because I can open my account just fine on computers that don't have CE installed.

Hello Andy,

Thank you for your post! The issue that you've described we have seen a couple of times with our users. Luckily there is an easy fix! If you uninstall and reinstall the Covenant Eyes software your Apple ID should connect to iTunes with no issue.

If this does not solve your problem feel free to contact our Customer Service at 877.479.1119.

Best regards,
Annelise

Thanks for the tip.  Sadly, when I try to uninstall (this is Windows 10), I get "InstallScript Setup Launcher Unicode has stopped working" and the uninstall fails.

I have the same problem as Andy! Trying to uninstall due to problems with Apple ID server connection and I get a message that says "InstallScript Setup Launcher Unicode has stopped working:  A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.  Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."

I'm not a US customer, any suggestions apart from calling?

I just removed Covenant Eyes, uninstalling through booting Windows 10 in safe mode.  I then opened iTunes and it signed in first go.

Reinstalled Covenant Eyes after signing into iTunes and iCloud servers, and restarted my PC.  I opened iTunes and it said that there was an error in establishing contact with the iTunes store.
