Hello Don,

Thank you for contacting us with your questions, I appreciate your desire for integrity on the Internet.

The Covenant Eyes software is not currently compatible on any gaming system or device. We do realize the growing need for accountability in these areas, however. We do hope to develop a solution for gaming systems like the Nintendo DSi in the future.

One possible solution would be to create a Covenant Eyes router device. That way, all devices and computers accessing the Internet in your home would be monitored or filtered.

Thank you very much for your inquiry!

Best regards,

Kind of touching on Trevor's response - if you have a Window machine with Covenant Eyes, you can install proxy server software on that windows machine (Proxy+ is what I use). If you have some way to redirect traffic through your windows box, then Covenant Eyes will track anything going through the DSi. I do this for my Linux box; I can choose to use a proxy server for my internet connection (the ip for my windows machine). Based on some quick googling ( http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/syst... ) it appears you can use a proxy server for the internet connection on the DSi.

I also know some people can do port forwarding on the router so all the configuration is done at that point. My router doesn't do this so I cannot attest if this works or not.

let me know if you have any questions on this. Setting up the proxy server is probably the hardest part.
