iOS12 hates covenant eyes

I just updated to iOS 12 and the update moved my covenant eyes browser from primary and opened up safari. It even changed my primary browser back to safari. Any suggestions to get covenant eyes back as my primary and only allowed browser? Thanks, Brian

Hello Brian,

Thank you for your post. Luckily, Apple does not hate Covenant Eyes exclusively! Included in the update to iOS 12, Apple resets the restrictions back to default settings. This is due to Apple's complete revamp of their restrictions feature complete with a new name, Screen Time.

You and your accountability partner will just need to go back in and reset the Screen Time restrictions to disable Safari and make the Covenant Eyes app your primary browser once again.

Screen Time does look a bit different from Apple's previous restrictions so if you need any assistance navigating them please feel free to contact our Customer Service at 877.479.1119.

Best regards,
