Intermittent problems with connecting to the internet

I have just recently come upon a problem that happens sometimes (only sometimes) after booting up my computer. For some reason, the internet will just not allow me to browse, and then when I sign out and back in to covenant eyes the internet starts working again. But, it only works for a short amount of time before it shuts off again. My wifi card has been failing, and so I've been using a USB wifi adapter (supposedly one of the best). I'm not sure if the USB wifi adapter is a factor. In fact, I thought it was the problem until I somehow stumbled upon the covenant eyes factor. Sometimes I'll turn on my computer and the internet will work without any problems (hence "intermittent" in the title), and I haven't been having this problem until this past week. However, I believe I've correctly identified covenant eyes as the culprit. I would greatly appreciate some assistance with this problem.

Patrick,

Thanks for using CE and reaching out! I would encourage you to do two things: 1) run a malware scan, like Malwarebytes, because malware can cause intermittent problems to occur, and 2) make sure you have the latest version of CE (7.2.48).

If you need help with either of those items, then please feel free to call us at 877-479-1119. We are happy to help. Thanks again for using the forum.
