The sites that start with “dns” do belong on the Accountability Report and are correctly classified as “Web Content.”
two main parts to the Covenant Eyes® for iPhone® app: the browser, and the VPN.
The traditional detailed reporting comes from the browser. In the past, this was
the only reporting available on iPhone®. The VPN is a new feature, added in
2017, which expanded accountability, and is an addition to the browser.
designation of “dns” shows these sites were requested by some other app or
browser (other than the Covenant Eyes® browser) on the phone. If this content flagged
as Highly Mature (HM), it will show up on the report under “Mobile & tablet
is a general term for any
Internet activity monitored and reported by Covenant Eyes. It is the default
label we give to any content not identifiable by another category. Perhaps this
further explanation will be helpful: "What's
the difference between Web Content, Viewed Pages, and Secondary Content?"
In summary, those
links are valuable to have on the report, they reflect URL requests outside of
the Covenant Eyes® browser, and they labeled are as “Web Content.”
