How to report something to filter

Every once in a while I come across a sidebar ad that is absolutely inappropriate, but the filter doesn't catch it. Is there a way to report the image info or anything to covenant eyes to help improve the filter? These aren't always sites that I can easily avoid. It seems like sleaze advertising is getting bolder and bolder every day.

I would recommend running a browser that supports add-ons, if you don't already, and use the Adblock extension.

Thanks Chance for posting in this, that is some great advice.

Currently there no real way to report advertising content to the filter, as it is subject to random and rapid change.

If we were to implement a feature like this however, what you would want it to look like? It is a cool idea and we would leave to hear your feedback

Well, I was hoping that there would be a place that I could send a URL to the image, or ad, to be added to the block list. Covenant Eyes could even implement a system where if there is a trend where a lot of ads were flagged from agencyxyz.com/... that it would start to block the entire domain.

To get the image/link info, all a user would have to do is right click and select "view image info" and copy/paste the location.

For example, your avatar is: https://d2r1vs3d9006ap.cloudfront.net/public/uploaded_images/10242945/0c45929c74c67101437309f93fcfce...

The user could then use an automated reporting system to register that as inappropriate with the covenant eyes filter.

And thanks Chance, I added AdBlock Plus and haven't had an issue since. I really appreciate it.

Thanks for the feedback, I really like that idea. I will make sure it gets passed along to the relevant teams.

I have a particular website that has lots of language and text that should have been blocked and wasn't. I even changed my setting to the kids setting and it is still accessible. How can I turn it off for my filter and how can I report it as not blocking to Covenant Eyes so that maybe something could be done about it?

Sorry for the delayed reply, Michelle.

For now, I would recommend adding the site in question to the block list. In addition, I would let our ratings team know about the issue so that we can rate the site correctly. You can contact them here .
