Hi, I was wondering if it is possible to change the filter rules based on the time of day? I have started a job where I work from home on my PC, and would like to block certain sites, such as facebook, during working hours while having them available in the evening. Is there currently a way to do this?

Hi Andrew,
Thanks for the post! Unfortunately, the only filter rule that can currently change based on time of day are the actual blocked times, i.e, you can block out internet access from noon - 3PM, but have internet available after that.  To change the actual allowed sites, the Filter Guardian would have to block them for working hours, then allow them when work is over.

Does anyone know if this has changed at all? I am currently desiring this same thing.

Hello Ruth,

Thanks for the follow-up! At this time our time of day blocking still works the same as it did before. A Filter Guardian can only block all internet access by blocking a chunk of time, there's no time of day blocking for specific websites. I have passed along the request to our developers so they can look into perhaps providing this feature for our users in the future. I'm sure many will benefit from it and appreciate it.
