I've been struggling with this, and am finally deleting my Facebook account. Covenant eyes cannot see through Facebook I think. I can literally get away with anything on Facebook-provided that I stay away from a few key words. The reason is this, even though Covenant Eyes will detect that I am on a Facebook page, the url it tags is unreadable through the accountability reports. You can try to revisit the page through the accountability report, or detailed browsing log, but all you will get is a blank page. It's just a way I've found to get around it, and I know that I am weak in this area so I wanted to just remove that weakness. My sinfulness will always find a way to sin, and it's only through the blood of Christ that I can be righteous. However, I believe it is a wise move on my part to delete my Facebook account as it is a gateway to all kinds of evil. Being specific let me just say this. Search for any photography page, female athlete, store page, you name it- on Facebook, and you will pretty much get all the pictures of scantly clad girls you can without the accountability you need. I don't know if there is a way around this, all I know is what I'm going to do with this situation.

this is very disappointing indeed as I also struggle with this! It is more of an issue for me to get rid of my facebook because I work for a non profit so all my income is from relationship donors and I use facebook extensively for networking with supporters and raising support. Getting rid of facebook would cut me off from all of its very helpful tools! I really wish convenant eyes would come with a solution for better facebook monitering, would prob even pay extra ;). Also activity on my smart phone apps arent trackable. I will be looking for a new accountability program soon.

I have just discovered this and am happy to get rid of FB but I know I can easily add it back! I would love to have a way to add a "block this site" to the accountability software. That OR a much more accurate reporting of the key words that are punched in to sites and apps that CE doesn't currently track.

It sounds like what you may be looking for is our Filtering Software, which you can learn more about by clicking the link below.

This thread is actually a couple of years old and we have done numerous improvements on our software since then. Further improvements are on their way as we strive to continuously upgrade and provide the best possible accountability for our members.
