Does CE accountability work if I sign into a Guest user account on a Mac?

If I sign into the Guest user account on a Mac (Safari web-browsing only), will CE still monitor my Internet usage? If not, this seems like an easy work-around for an individual who is trying to stay accountable.

And if this is the case, are there any suitable workarounds that would prevent this from being an easy temptation?

Hi Eric. Great question. Yes! We will monitor all profiles on the computer. Covenant Eyes installs across all of them, so anyone logging in will need to have a CE username to log into our software with so they can get online.

Good morning, Morris. Do you mean, "Does Covenant Eyes monitor all browsing on an Android device--even if the user creates a new user profile on his tablet?" If that is what you mean, unfortunately, the answer is no. Creating a new user profile goes deeper on an Android than it does on a Mac or PC.

Safeguarding yourself against this loophole is a tall order, and isn't something we're able to programmatically. You can read more about a potential-but-extreme measure here.
