Several times a week my son has received the following notification on his iphone: "Device-wide accountability has turned off". I had the phone in my possession and noticed the same occurrence.
Why is the device-wide accountability turning off? How can I stop it? And how do I know when it happens? Please help.

Rick,

Thank you for reaching out to us about this. That message typically means that the Covenant Eyes VPN somehow disconnected. Sometimes the VPN can disconnect if the phone is switching from WiFi to data or if there is a weak internet connection.

There’s a feature on iPhones called “Connect on Demand”, which will automatically turn the Covenant Eyes VPN on if it’s turned off. You can check to see if this feature is on by going into Settings > General > VPN > then tapping on the circled “i” next to Covenant Eyes. Connect on Demand should be near the bottom on and it needs to be turned on.

If that does not solve the issue, I suggest calling our Customer Service (877-479-1119) and we can do some more troubleshooting.
