Covenant Eyes potentially blocking League of Legends and other connections? (Windows 10)

Hi all,

I currently run Covenant Eyes version 7.2.22 on Windows 10 in conjunction with Microsoft Family safety features (that simultaneously work on an Xbox one and a desktop computer), which blocks access to Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer on all devices.

I have noticed that the desktop is unable to connect to the newly updated ("beta") League of Legends server and client - I have to opt to log into the "legacy" client, and only then am I able to connect. Furthermore, when I have logged into the "legacy" client, I am unable to connect to the chat features on the server.

Secondly, I seem unable to connect to and am not sure what the problem is.

I'm not sure if this is a Covenant Eyes specific issue in particular, but I figured this wouldn't be a bad place to start! None of these issues are particularly important, but I wanted to get this out there to see if I could get people smarter than I am to take a look at this :-).

Hi Blake,
    I have never seen an issue with personally, but Covenant Eyes has had to adjust for changes made in new LoL clients before. 7.2.22 is not our most recent version; try downloading 7.2.37 from our website and see if the beta client is still malfunctioning. If you could, uninstall Covenant Eyes completely first and test it without Covenant Eyes on there just to make sure it works when we're not on your system. If it works without us but stops working with 7.2.37 on, reply back and let me know and I'll give the information to our developers so they can look into it. For those purposes, if you know the name of your antivirus software it would be extraordinarily helpful information. 
    As for the issue, are you a filter user? Has this always been an issue or did it just start? If it's always been an issue and you use the filter, try having it allowed through your allow list. If you have a filter and it just started, you may be seeing a conflict of Covenant Eyes and a different software that may have just updated, such as your antivirus. Let me know what you're using on your computer and we can go from there!
