Covenant Eyes forgets logins using greater-than 13 character usernames

We have several different logins for multiple family members, some of which have long user names compared to the rest of us. Unfortunately, Covenant Eyes does not remain signed in when these users restart the computer. When they come back, it is signed out of Covenant Eyes, and the user name is truncated. I think there might be a hard limit somehow to saving a user name of 14 characters in length?

I would have never have noticed this, except that we created some longer usernames which seem to both truncate at 13 characters after we log them into Windows again.

Thank you for your help!

Hi Joshua,

I actually wasn't aware of this issue, but it makes sense. At this point, the only thing we could do if it is causing an issue, is to help you change your family's usernames. Typically this isn't something we do, but we can definitely help you do it if you would like. You would have to call us as it cannot be done in My Account (to prevent circumvention).
You can give us a call at 877.479.1119 M-F 8a-12a, Sa 10a-6p EDT.

Regards,

Heather
