Covenant Eyes 7.2.41 and 7.3.8 (beta) don't work on Windows 10 with NetScaler Gateway VPN

I have a Windows 10 machine at work that uses the Citrix NetScaler Gateway VPN program to VPN into my work. As soon as I log into the VPN I am no longer able to get to anything on the internet. When I uninstall CE then the VPN works great, and when I am not on the VPN but have CE installed the internet also works great.

I have tried both the current and beta versions listed in the downloads section (7.2.41 and 7.3.8) but neither of them seem to be compatible with the NetScaler VPN. The NetScaler Gateway VPN version is 11.1.52.13. Previously my company used the CheckPoint VPN and that worked, but since we moved to the Citrix VPN I am no longer able to get it to work.

I have tried logging into the VPN and doing CE restarts, ipconfig /flushdns, ipconfig /release, etc. to no avail.

Any chance you guys have already seen this issue and are working on/have a version that it might work with?

Matt,

Thanks for posting, and we have not seen an issue with NetScaler.

Let me suggest three things: 1) just to be thorough, run a malware scanner (like ADW Cleaner), 2) email me at robert.b@covenanteyes.com so I can set you up with an internal beta or 3) call our Customer Service Team at 877-479-1119, explain your situation, then ask for the internal beta.

Thanks again for posting,

Robert

Hi Robert,

We have active monitoring and daily quick scans along with weekly full scans of our work laptops using Symantec. I will send you an email to get setup with the beta. Thank you!
