CE for Mac keeps blocking safe sites randomly

For several months now, CE has been randomly blocking safe sites while I'm browsing. I'll be looking at a Facebook page, for instance, and then the screen automatically refreshes to a CE page saying that Amazon (or another random safe page - it seems to choose from sites I have open in other tabs) has been blocked. I can click a button to say I want to view all Amazon pages and then the page reloads to show whatever Amazon page it was trying to load. I have to click "back" several times to return to the original page that I was trying to view. This is VERY frustrating, especially when the random refreshing occurs when I am in the middle of typing something, and everything is lost!

My filter level is set at Mature, so I have NO clue why it keeps trying to reload and block these sites that should be allowed. Why is it trying to load a different site into the tab I'm using for another site? And it doesn't always happen, just randomly - and just often enough to be very annoying.

I've tried closing my browser and refreshing the CE connection, and of course my computer has been restarted many times. Can anyone help me figure this out?

That does sound frustrating! If you want to try something on your own, start by checking the version of Covenant Eyes. For a Mac, the latest version of Covenant Eyes is 2.10.2.

To check, click the eye icon (at the top of the screen by the wifi symbol), and select 'About Covenant Eyes' from the drop down menu. A small window will open and display the version number. If you have a prior version, please remove it and install 2.10.2.
