Cannot uninstall with code

When I open CE Uninstall (on Mac OS) and enter the uninstall code (current), and admin password, I get the following message:

"An internal error prevented Covenant Eyes from uninstalling properly. Please try again."
Error Code: 100001

Tried to reboot. Nothing changes.
What to do?

Hey Sebastian,

That sounds like an issue that I have not run into before. I suspect that our Mac guys would be able to tell you exactly how to fix it, but I cant seem to find any of them right now...

So. Going off of my best guess I would say that something has corrupted Covenant Eyes on your Mac. I would try downloading a fresh copy of the software from our website, and then installing it overtop the current copy you have. Usually that is enough to allow the software to resolve any internal conflicts.

If that fails check back here and I may have a better answer

I installed the 2.7 beta version. Runs perfectly! Then tried to deinstall... same problem as before! On both my Macs the exact same problem. This is annoying! One must surely be able to deinstall???

Well, that certainly is odd.

I pinged one of our Mac dev's about this issue this morning, and as soon as I hear something back from him I can give you another suggestion. I can assure you that 99.9% of our users on Mac uninstall without any sort of trouble.

Ok. Update

I heard back from our Mac Dev. Essentially the error code is saying that Apple does not recognize the uninstaller that we are trying to use as valid in your case.

I will try and pass your case over to one of our Customer Service Reps, who can help you to use the backup uninstaller. It is pretty straightforward, but generally easier to explain via phone.
