Cannot login to WiFi with redirect after 20 hours

I often use my laptop offline and get the message "Covenant Eyes has been unable to connect to our servers for 20 hours." This is fine, but when I go to reconnect, I am unable to if I try to connect to a public WiFi like Starbucks or any WiFi that requires Terms and Conditions to be accepted before joining. This often prevents me from being able to use my laptop at a coffee shop until I bring it to a different WiFi that allows an unrestricted connection. This is very annoying and often has caused me to not be able to use WiFi and waste my time. Can you please provide a way to avoid this problem?

Hi Brenton.
Thanks for posting. When experiencing the 20 hour error message I generally recommend to members that they turn their laptop off rather than simply close it during travel. The internal 20 hour timer is still counting while the laptop is closed but still on. If you are turning your laptop off before transporting it and you are still getting that error message, I might recommend calling in to our Customer Service Center so we can provide real time support. I get this too. If you can hotspot through your phone only for the first 30 seconds it will connect to the Cov Eyes servers and then you're all set to go at Starbucks Wifi.
