Blackberry Z10 with Amazon Underground

With the recent BlackBerry OS update, the Android-based Amazon App Store and Amazon Underground apps were loaded. I was excited to test out the Covenant Eyes Android app on my BlackBerry!

While the app installed fine, it prompts me to turn on CE in the Accessibility setting menu.

This is where things break down. No CE option was added to the Accessibility menu when the app installed. I'm not surprised, given that it's an Android app running on a BlackBerry OS.

Here's the main reason I'm writing: now, CE tries to run when any app from the Amazon App Store starts and prevents the app from running.

Any ideas from the community on how to uninstall the CE app or to get around its "auto-run"? It's not listed in my installed apps. I also uninstalled the two Amazon apps, but that didn't solve the problem. My last resort is a factory reset.

Thanks for your time,
Jon from Houston

Hi Jon!

Unfortunately Android app simulators on Blackberry don't recreate the Android environment well enough for Covenant Eyes to run.  You might be able to use the Blackberry Desktop management software to delete Covenant Eyes.

If this doesn't work, then you will need to do a factory reset.
