I have my settings set to very strict. And I need it that way. But with this strictness I often come across websites that I know for a fact are harmless but are blocked. The most recent example is a restaurant's web page. I don't live with my filter guardian so I have to write down the webpage address and remember to tell me filter guardian later. I suppose I could send them a text but that seems like that could get annoying.
An old filter company I used to use had a feature that solved this issue. Upon coming across a blocked page one is redirected to the page saying it is blocked. Well this other company had a link on the redirected page that said "Request this page be added to the allowed list" or something of that sort. If I clicked that link it would send an email to my Filter Guardian who could then simply accept or deny the request. If accepted, the page i tried to access would be permanently added to my allow list. Saved a lot of hassle.
But with covenant eyes I have to keep a running tab of sites to ask my filter guardian to add to the allow list.
